Chiropractic treatment is based on the understanding that
a healthy and properly functioning nervous system
leads to improved overall health and wellbeing.
But chiropractors can assist with more than just the spine - all joints, along with many soft tissue injuries of the ligaments, tendons and muscles, are also treated by chiropractors.
Our Chiropractor primarily uses massage, adjustments and dry needling to help improve the nervous system. Over time, this will help to 'move' areas that are not moving properly, to relieve pain or pressure and help improve the nervous system.
Our chiropractic treatments assist with a wide range of health issues:
- Digestive issues and headaches
- Tendonitis and sports injuries
- Menstrual pain
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Shoulder, knee, wrist & elbow problems.
- Back pain and chronic pain
Are Chiropractors qualified?
To practice in Australia, Chiropractors must complete a 5 year university qualification which includes a 3 year Bachelor and 2 year Masters degree. They are also regulated and registered by the government.
The Australian Government has set up a regulatory body to oversee the industry and ensure high standards of practice are maintained.
